The Proaim Seagull Support is a brilliant device that allows operators to attach Proaim Arm and Vest to motorized gimbal stabilizers including the DJI Ronin® and Freefly MōVI®. The system features two steadycam-style Arms, along with multi-functional ergonomic Vest. Adapting your motorized gimbal with an arm and vest turns your gimbal into a body-worn stabilizer, meaning the operating load is taken off the arms of the operator allowing for longer durations of stable handheld video shooting. This allows you to operate comfortably for a much longer period of time while not sacrificing gimbal operation flexibility or performance. Proaim Seagull Support with smart new features further meets the needs of today’s camera operating professionals.
QUICK RELEASE SUPPORT ARMS
The iso-elastic arms enable quick, precise and smooth operation. High-grade CNC aluminum constructed Arms carry payload up to 15kg / 33lb and optimizes performance throughout its lifting range. With an innovative quick-release system each support arm is quickly snapped into the support vest. Each arm features two spring-loaded support sections. You can easily adjust the tension of each spring section to counteract the weight of camera and motorized gimbal. The preferred operating style (whether you want the arms away from your body or tight and compact to your body), can be adjusted too by positioning the gimbal support brackets at the end of both arms.
When not in use, each arm can be swivelled down into resting position. Simply by pulling on the release cord, and locking each arm into place along the side of vest.
SWIVEL HAND-GRIP SUPPORTS
Adjustable swivel hand-grip supports are located at the end of each arm. Each gimbal hand-grip rests inside the support bracket allowing the operator to keep their arms free for any hands-on camera adjustments. They also provide support without limiting the operator’s range of movement.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT VEST
The Vest offers perfect fit, great comfort and unrestricted movements, all with a user-friendly design. The operators can adjust the shoulder and hip segments perfectly to their individual physique. Adjust the height by pulling the lever at the back. It provides support to the gimbal operator, helping to prevent fatigue by transferring weight of gimbal camera setup to operator’s hips. The vest is padded with extremely breathable material to provide comfort and adjustments can be made without tools and on-the-fly. The modular & adjustable vest fits easily on all body types. There is a handle at the back to carry the vest system with ease.
Another aspect of the vest is its quick-release buckles at shoulder and hip belt. The operator can open the quick-release buckles during short breaks, which help to promote better blood circulation through the legs and enable the operator to breathe deeply. After refastening the quick-release buckles, the vest return to their exact former position.
INTEGRATED BATTERY PLATE
The vest comes standard with a V-Mount battery plate. Through here the operator can run power directly to the gimbal through the right support arm through several installed cable clamps.
